My new hobby.

okay so i'm trying to start a new hobby. I am getting into Digital Scrapbooking. I personally think that it is easier than just plain scrapbooking. I have found a really cool website that has helped me get started. It's freedigitalscrapbooking.com. But I still need your help! I know that there are cute, crafty, creative people that read my blog, and I need your help! If you know of anything that can help me learn more about digital scrapbooking or find more stuff for digital scrapbooking please let me know!

The Zoo!

Today Darin wanted to take the family to the zoo. I usually hate the zoo, so I wasn't too excited about going out today. But it turned out to be pretty fun! Below are pictures from the eventful day!

Gage just loved the white alligator! MyKelle on the other hand was almost in tears wanting to go home!
MyKelle's favorite part about the zoo were the elephants! She just loved them! Gage didn't like to be held though. He wanted down to see the big elephants for himself. He thinks that he is so big. Gage loved all the birds that were flying around!
The zebra's were pretty boring! They didn't do much, but what a cute picture.
The gorilla was pretty cool. It just came and sat down right by gage. He thought that it was so cool!
MyKelle thinks she's almost as tall as a gorilla.

And of course, we had to get a picture of the O.C. Tanner ball for my daddy! (since that is were he works!)

I have the best family!

Tonight some of my family decided to come up to layton to go out to eat. It was kind of a last minute decision. We went to chilli's for dinner and then we went back to my house to hang out. MyKelle had decided that she was going to pretend to watch a movie in the movie theater,(which is in her room, the screen was her closet. And no, there was no real movie on the wall.) So my mom, dad, and me were the first one's to go watch the movie (since the rest hadn't arrived at my house yet.) then Adam, jess, kelli, jeremy, and gage got to watch the second showing of the movie! So here we are in MyKelle's room starring at a blank wall and her messy closet pretending to watch a movie. How she ever managed to talk all of us into watching her closet i will never know! Don't I have the best family?!

Jumping in!

Today was MyKelle's third day at swimming lessons. She is doing so good! Today she even put her head in the water! They started jumping off the side of the pool into the water and then they did the "monkey crawl" to the shallow end of the pool. I was really nervous for my little girl, but she actually did it! She gets a little nervous right before she jumps in, it is so cute! I took some footage of her today. You can hear her cute teacher in the background telling her how good she is doing. (by the way my camera had some issues with the light or something so the footage kind of sucks! But it still is really cute! I will try to get better footage another day. Enjoy!)

Swimming Lessons

Today MyKelle started Swimming lessons. She has such a cute teacher, i'm so excited for her.

This is MyKelle kicking her legs. Her teacher wanted her to blow bubbles in the water again. But MyKelle wouldn't do it! Hopefully by the end of swim lessons she will be able to put her head in the water to blow bubbles! I will keep you updated!

Cute Hairstyles

This summer my goal is to learn how to do MyKelle's hair cute. Well after some blog hopping I found some cool blogs on how to do little girls hair. (Thanks Janell. The links I found where from your blog) :) Here are some pictures of some of the hairstyles that I have done on MyKelle this week.

This one is my favorite hairstyle so far! I did this on MyKelle's hair to go to a baptizm, and everyone was so impressed with it! It looks really hard and complicated, but it was so easy!

This has been so much fun for me and MyKelle. Everyday we sit down and spend some quality time together while we play with her hair! She has really loved having her hair look like a princess.

Kharma bites!

When I first got married over 5 years ago, I decided to rebel against my mom (I love you mom!) and not clean for a little bit. Well my wonderful and amazing husband was totally cool with that. See my husband is a neat freak and actually enjoyed cleaning. Infact he pretty much would do Everything around the house. I'm talking the cleaning (even the toilets), the dishes, the dusting, the vacuming. He would even work outside in the yard and mow, and pull weeds and do the whole bit! The only thing my wonderful husband wouldn't do was cook. I thought that was fair. So we ate out a lot! (just kidding-well kinda) Well lately my husband has been having horrible back pain and can't bare to do much of anything anymore. See he was in a car accident almost 6 years ago where he broke his back. Well lately within the last few months his back and been hurting him constantly! He also has been having a lot more seizures than he has in the past. Infact he has had 4 siezures with in the last 3 weeks. (He will usually have 1 or 2 a month) So now here is Kharma coming to get me!! Now I guess it's my turn to do everything. I do all the cleaning and yard work that now has to be done. I know what you are all thinking: It's about time you got off you butt and did something, Or what a horrible wife I have been, or even- I bet that house looks like a mess, right? Well I have been trying to get my act together, And I finally feel like I'm getting the hang of it, but I must admit that their are many days that I don't know how you supermom's and superwomen out there do what you all do! You are all amazing to me and inspire me each and everyday to get off my "bum" and get busy. There is one amazing women who I wanted to thank. (even though she may never read this) That women is Angel. She is so amazing and not just becuase she married and puts up with my cousin rob!! But she has had to deal with a ton of crap lately. She's the one I always think about when life gets a little rough for me. For any of you that know Angel you will agree with me. She is a wonderful, caring, and sensitive person. For those of you who don't know her, she is Charlie Cooper's mom. Charlie was diagnosed with menigitis earlier this year. They have been through stuff that I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy! And everytime you see Angel she has a smile on her face. That smile that she carries with her has gotten me through many hard times! So Angel and all you other Super-moms out there that make motherhood look easy I say THANK YOU! It's becuase of you that I'm able to get through my trials in life!!! You are amazing!
