They are growing up FAST!!

With all these babies being born in my family (my brother, and sister) I have been realizing just how big my two little babies are becoming! It makes me sad that they are no longer so little, but it also makes me a very proud mama as they grow and learn more everyday.

Today while I was driving MyKelle to preschool I asked her to count for me as high as she could. And she counted to 100!!!! I know this is a little silly to be so excited about, but we have been working on counting to 100 for a very long time. She always said she couldn't do it, and wouldn't even try to get past 29. Then I taught her how to count to 100 by 10's. Which gave her more confidence, and today for the first time she counted to 100 all by herself!!! I am so proud of her!!! She is so smart, and amazes me everyday with new things that she is learning.

Gage is also growing up very fast! He has learned that he is 3 years old. And he is very proud of it! When ever he agrees with someone instead of saying me too, he always says me three!! The other day MyKelle kept saying me too, and he got so bugged by that he finally turned to me and said, "Mom, Kelle thinks that she is two years old and is always saying me two! But I'm not! I'm a big boy! And I say me Three!!" I thought that was very cute!!

The other day Gage also had to come to preschool with me for the day, because Darin had been having seizures. We were playing an ABC game in preschool to help them learn their ABC's and when i matched Gage up with another boy in my 4 year old preschool class, Gage kept telling me the letter names faster than the boy who will be going to kindergarten next year!!! I was very proud of him!!! Gage also knows his colors, and some shapes!!!

I'm very proud of my little kids!! I love them so very much!! I only hope that they keep on amazing me everyday!!

Welcome Cambree Ann Whitney

Yesterday at 3:26 a.m. Kelli gave birth to cambree!! She is such a cute little girl! Kelli says she looks a lot like Jeremy. Cambree weighed in at 6 pounds 9 ounces, and 19 and a half inches long!

When I went and saw Kelli and her new little family Cambree was very awake, but very calm! Which is weird for Kelli!! I didn't hear her cry once!

The happy new mamma, Cambree, and Me!

She started fussing here, but no real cry! She is so cute!

Darin even fell in love with the new baby!
Congrats Kelli! We are very proud of you!!

Journals

Today I had to teach a lesson in young women’s about Journals. So I went downstairs and dug out my journals and started reading my 9th grade journal. Oh my!!! What a laugh I had this morning!!!! My Journal was full of the dramatic life of a 9th grader. I'm so glad that I’m no longer a 9th grade girl!!! I must say I was pretty proud of myself. That Valentine’s Day I had received 4 roses and 9 carnations all from different boys!!! I don't ever recall being such a player. :) But I guess I was.
For all of you that knew me when I was a very dramatic 15 year old, I feel the need to apologize for anything that I had said or did to you! Apparently I was very stressed out! (Especially my little sister Kelli! There was one entry in my journal that I wrote how I was so stressed out and I didn't know how to handle my stress-so I took it out on my sister!)

Today I also challenged all my beehives to write in their journals everyday this week!! I told them all about my blog and how it's my form of a journal! So I am also going to try to keep up on my blogging and will try to blog something everyday! Wish me Luck!!

Happy Easter!

Yesterday the Easter Bunny came to Darin's work! (Walgreens in Clinton). The kids were so excited all morning long! They couldn't wait to go see the Easter Bunny! MyKelle thought that it was kinda like Santa Claus. She kept saying she was going to tell the Easter Bunny what she wanted for Easter. When we got there, the kids weren't so excited anymore! I mean lets face it, a huge bunny is kinda scary!!
first we had MyKelle sit on her lap. MyKelle could tell right off that the Easter Bunny was not the real one and that it was a girl, because her braid was hanging out of her Hood (or what ever you call it). So after some explaining about having Easter bunny helpers, she finally decided that it would be okay to sit on her lap.
Gage on the other hand, was not going to sit on her lap!!!

So we went for a walk around the store, and he saw other people sitting on her lap, so he decided to give it a try!

He smiled so Cute!!
Then right as we were getting ready to leave he ran right up to the Easter Bunny and gave her a hug and said bye to her!

I was so excited that someone got a picture of it!! ( I had to scan this into my computer, sorry if it's blurry!)
I hope that you are all having a great Easter!!!
