Happy Birthday Adam!

For Birthdays this year I'm letting MyKelle make up a story all about the Birthday person!!! So we will start with Adam!! MyKelle was so excited about this story! She thought about for two days before she told me she was ready to tell me the story! This is word for word how she told it!!! (Keep in mind she told me this story right after Halloween)

A spooky story for Adam

So Adam is a little funny. But this story is how Adam got spooked!

A long time ago there was a spooky ghost. Adam walked by the spooky ghost, and then it said, “Boo!!” Adam fly’d down the street and meted a witch. The witch said, “He He He He!!” The Adam ran down the street to a vampire. And the vampire flapped it’s wings to let Adam know that he, the vampire, was here!! So Adam rushed into his house, but something knocked. He opened up the door and there was all of the monsters he met. (They were pretty nice monsters in one of my stories, but here they are mean monsters.) They wanted to be friendly to Adam. (This story is going to be confusing) Then a long spooky sound came from the witches house over to Adams house. And then the friendly voice was actually just a ghost. The ghost was really friendly, but the others were very mean. Well the others that were very mean came over to Adam’s house. They had a new monster on their team. It was a rock that is Alive!!! And it’s way big! And it can talk. The rock had an “x’ on it and it was bleeding!! It was really scary. It came alive and came over to the house, but the ghost ate it!!! Well Adam saw it and ran up the stairs, because he got spooked!! And he locked the door. And hid the key in his room. Then Adam lived happily ever after!
Happy Birthday Adam!! We love you!

The favorite spot!

My kids have found their favorite spot to hide at my moms house.

It's under the bar stools in her kitchen. They think it's so funny that no one can see them there. Little do they know we can see them there.

Aren't they so cute?

Happy Thanksgiving!

This year for Thanksgiving we went to my moms house for a wonderful dinner! She set up the table in the living room so there was enough room for everyone to sit at the table.
The kids thought that it was so cool to sit at the table and watch T.V.!!

You can't see them very well, but I made little table favors for everyone. There is a pilgrim hat that I made out of a chocolate cookie and a chocolate covered marshmallow; and there is a cornicopia that i made from a sugar cone and little gummy candy.

Gage ate his all gone before dinner even started!
Adam was so excited for Thanksgiving that he even decided to do a little cooking himself!

After dinner MyKelle had decided that she was tired and wanted to lay down. Addison wanted to join her, but couldn't fiqure out how to get under the covers like MyKelle!

Kelli and Jeremy brought their Mickey Mouse popcorn popper that the kids just loved! They thought that popcorn was only made in the microwave!

Kelli showed them how it all worked.

And when it started popping they couldn't take their eyes off of it!

I had such a great Thanksgiving! I'm so lucky to be part of such a fun family! I love you guys!

Preschool Thanksgiving Feast

For Thanksgiving in preschool MyKelle's class had a fun Thanksgiving feast. Everyone dressed up as either a pilgrim or an Indian. They all brought food to share with the class and it was so much fun!

This is my cute little pilgrim

And this is MyKelle's whole class! They were so cute I just had to post the picture with everyone!

Go Utes!

Last night my parents had recieved 12 tickets to the U of U basketball game. So everyone in my family that wasn't working all went to the basketball game! (We missed you Darin, Travis, and Jessica!!) I had so much fun, and my kids loved it!
We started off the night by going to dinner together at the training table.
When we got to the game gage was so excited to watch football! I kept trying to tell him that we were watching basketball and he kept forgetting. :)

MyKelle even had a lot of fun. Especially when her Jo-Jo bought them Basketballs!!

Here is Gage watching the game with the big boys!! He did really well until half time. By that time it was past his bed time, and he was ready to go home.
On the way home MyKelle saw a sign with the letter P on it with a circle and a line threw it. (You know the kind. No Parking sign) Well MyKelle has learned that a circle with a line threw it means you can't do something, and her uncle Adam had just finished telling a story about peeing in some trees on the side of the road when he was younger. So MyKelle put the two together and says, "Mom does that sign mean no Peeing?" I tried to explain that it meant no parking, but she said that peeing started with a "p" also. So we decided that you can't park or pee there. When I asked her what you did under those signs she said, " You just look at them, and take pictures with them." And I agreed! So the next time you see a sign like that take a picture, but remember NO PEEING!! (I love my little girl!)

The best thing ever!

My cousins little boy was diagnosed with spinal meningitis over a year ago. They have started a very intensive therapy to help him out, and once a week I get the opportunity to go and help Charlie Cooper with his therapy. I go and help on thursday nights with my sister, Kelli. Besides being a mom, this is the most rewarding thing I have ever done! I look forward to Thursdays! ( And not just because My parents will feed me dinner before I go over to Charlie's house, and watch my children for me!) The time that I have been able to spend with Charlie and feel his sweet spirit has been amazing! This little boy will lift my spirits when I am down, and bring a smile to my face that I just can't explain. Every little noise and movement that he makes brings me joy! I find myself talking about him as if he were my own! And when I feel that he has made even the slightest impovement I am overwhelmed with joy for him. And when he looks at you and smiles, it just makes every thing in the world seem right! I love this little boy! I love what he has been able to do for me! And I love that I get to help him every week!! Thank you Rob and Angel for letting me be a part of his life!!
Below are some pictures of me helping him during therapy.

Trick or Treat

This will be my last Halloween post! I'm so sorry that there has been so many!
To start our Halloween fun we went to Grandma Williams' house to see Grandma and Grandpa and visit some cousins, and see their Halloween costumes.
MyKelle and Gage were not happy at all!!! They didn't get a nap today and cried for most of the time that we were at the Williams' house. I'm so sorry to everyone that was there!

This was the fun picture with all the grandkids that made it to Grandma's house. (notice that Gage is still crying!!)

After Grandma's house we went home to eat dinner and rest for a minute. Then Jo-Jo came up to see the kids. By now the kids were happier and at least had stopped crying. We had Jo-Jo take a picture of us, and then it was off to trick or treat.

(Incase you couldn't tell Darin is a life guard, I am a witch, MyKelle is a fairy princess, and Gage is Scooby Doo)

I was so glad that the weather was nice and warm today! We had a great time trick or treating as a family!!! The kids loved evey minute of it! I must admit, as much as I love Halloween, I'm so glad that's it over with!!!
