With all these babies being born in my family (my brother, and sister) I have been realizing just how big my two little babies are becoming! It makes me sad that they are no longer so little, but it also makes me a very proud mama as they grow and learn more everyday.
Today while I was driving MyKelle to preschool I asked her to count for me as high as she could. And she counted to 100!!!! I know this is a little silly to be so excited about, but we have been working on counting to 100 for a very long time. She always said she couldn't do it, and wouldn't even try to get past 29. Then I taught her how to count to 100 by 10's. Which gave her more confidence, and today for the first time she counted to 100 all by herself!!! I am so proud of her!!! She is so smart, and amazes me everyday with new things that she is learning.
Gage is also growing up very fast! He has learned that he is 3 years old. And he is very proud of it! When ever he agrees with someone instead of saying me too, he always says me three!! The other day MyKelle kept saying me too, and he got so bugged by that he finally turned to me and said, "Mom, Kelle thinks that she is two years old and is always saying me two! But I'm not! I'm a big boy! And I say me Three!!" I thought that was very cute!!
The other day Gage also had to come to preschool with me for the day, because Darin had been having seizures. We were playing an ABC game in preschool to help them learn their ABC's and when i matched Gage up with another boy in my 4 year old preschool class, Gage kept telling me the letter names faster than the boy who will be going to kindergarten next year!!! I was very proud of him!!! Gage also knows his colors, and some shapes!!!
I'm very proud of my little kids!! I love them so very much!! I only hope that they keep on amazing me everyday!!

They are so stinking cute. They thrill me with the cute things they say and of course they are both brillant.
You should be proud. Savor those special moments as they grow up too fast. I now have teen age grand chilren. But I have a very clear memory of holding each little hand in mine while they slept. I locked that moment in my memory forever and it is so sweet.
