Happy Birthday MyKelle!!!

Happy Birthday to my sweet little princess!

MyKelle is growing up to be such a fun girl with a crazy personality that I just love!!! She truly acts like she is a princess, and loves to play dress up in cute dresses and jewelery! I even have to hide the dresses that she wears to church or she will wear them to play in. (which then get dirty and ruined!) She told me lately that she doesn't want to wear pants anymore, only dresses! So we do the best we can to buy her skirts to wear. When I asked her what she wanted for her birthday this year, the only thing that she could think of was, "Makeup just like mommy!"

She also loves to be in charge!!! While I teach preschool, she sometimes stays for the afternoon class to help me out. She is so cute as I hear her go around to all the kids in class and tell them how good they are doing, or that they are coloring with the wrong color-then helps them find the right color.

She loves to also teach Gage how to do stuff. In fact she is the one that started potty training Gage! And it worked for like a week. She would take him in the bathroom and say, "okay Gage, time for potty lessons!" He would watch her do the whole bathroom routine and then she would ask him if he wanted to try. One day he said yes!!! They did that for a week until it got old for them, then I had to finish potty training gage, (which is still a work in progress, he went to the bathroom a lot better when MyKelle was in charge!!!)

She also has a lot of love to give!! She is one of the most lovable and sweet little girls I know! She can always feel when I'm having a bad day and she will come give me a great big hug, and tons of kisses to go along with it!! She always tries to give Gage hugs too, but he usually runs away and screams.

She also is able to understand a lot!! She gets really concerned for Darin when he has seizures and always remembers to pray for him when we say our nighttime prayers. She told my mom and dad once that her daddy was very fragile. Which made us all laugh!! She also understands the gospel so far. (well kinda) Every Sunday she comes home from church and tells us everything that she learned. Then she will talk all the time about what Jesus and Satan wants us to do. One day we went to a store and walked past a person that was smoking and Mykelle said," Mom why is she smoking? Doesn't she know that's bad?" I explained how everyone can make their own choices and she said, " Well she must of listened to Satan!!" A couple of weeks ago she woke up and said, "Mom today I'm going to make Satan mad!", I asked her how she was going to do that, and she said," By loving Jesus, and by being a good girl!" So now when she is bad, I just have to tell her how she just made Satan Happy and she totally changes her attitude!

She is also a performer!!! She loves to sing and dance. She learns words to songs so fast that it amazes me! She sings to the radio all the time, but right now her favorite CD is the soundtrack to the musical, "wicked" She knows all the words to most of the songs! She also loves to make up stories and write her own books!

I love this little girl more than anything in the world!!! It is so much fun to see her grow up and learn new things!! I can't believe she is so big!!
