My sweet sweet daughter!!

This is a picture that MyKelle has hanging above her bed. It is a painting by Simon Dewey. (Keep that in mind, it is very important to my story!)
Anyway the other day we had someone come and walk through our house to see if they wanted to buy our it. Well they ended up letting us know that we had too much Christ pictures, saying, and statues in our house that they (as non-members) were so distracted that they were unable to look at our house. They asked us to take it all down so that they could come back to look at the house. Well we did end up taking down every thing that we could. (We have a few vynal lettering sayings that is directly on our wall that we refused to take off) Well to make a long story short, after all of that they still ended up not coming through, and we just never got around to putting any of the stuff back on the walls. That night after we put MyKelle to bed, she comes running out of her room crying like someone had just taken away her best friend. Darin tried for many minutes to get MyKelle to calm down so that we could understand what happened. Finally MyKelle says "Someone took away my Jesus, and now I have no one to talk too! I can't even tell him goodnight!!" Well that just broke both of our hearts! So with tears in our eyes, Darin ran (and i mean ran) to go get her Jesus Picture, and I took MyKelle back in her room to calm her down! After MyKelle had her picture re-hung on her wall she finally calmed down. She said, "goodnight Jesus" and turned over on her side to go to sleep!

That Picture will never come down again!!!!

That is so cute! I can't even stand it. I'm glad she realizes how precious Jesus is in her life! You go MyKelle way to choose the right!

So precious! She is amazing and you, as parents, are doing a wonderful job of teaching her correct principles. Way to go.

From the mouth of babes. What good parents to teach her to love Jesus.

I have goosebumps! That is an awesome story. It's too bad the people were distracted by the sweet spirit that is in your home.

That is the best story ever! Selling a house is almost as painful as pulling toenails out with visegrips.

nice work. you don't really want the heathens that can't view the Lord in your house anyway...
