Darin's Surgery

On Tuesday Darin had Surgery. He has a vagus nerve stimulator (click here for a link to take you to a web site about the stimulator) basically what the vagus nerve stimulator does is it helps control Darin's seizures by sending electric impulses to his brain to help stop any seizures from happening. Well the battery in the device died and he needed it replaced, so Darin had surgery this week.
The surgery went really well. We checked into the hospital at about 8:30 a.m. and checked out at about 2:30 p.m. Darin is very strong and is recovering quickly, his chest and arm when they had to make the incision is very sore, and will only use one arm. He has to go back to work tomorrow so I'm hoping that he will be able to do so! Please keep him in your prayers that he continues to heal quickly!!
