Friday afternoon Gage was taking a nap on the couch, and rolled over onto the floor. Well he has done this tons of times so I didn't think much of it. As the day went on I noticed that he would scream every time I picked him up, and that he was favoring his left arm/shoulder. I thought that maybe he sprained a muscle in his neck. So I attempted to put ice and heat on it. (which was not very successful) Well when he wasn't getting any better as the days went on we decided to take him to the doctors. And to my surprise Gage's Collar bone is broken!!! I felt so bad for him!!! Below is a copy of the x-ray. It's not a very good copy, but you get the picture right?!
In the doctors office Gage thought that he was cool, because he got to wear a sling!
He won't keep it on at home, but he will if we go places!
My poor little Gage has been through a lot in his 3 years here with us. I do believe that he is the Travis (A.K.A. the accident prone one) in our family!

Poor Guy! Branson broke his collar bone during birth, They are no fun at any age! I Hope he gets better soon!

That is crappy, poor guy. I hope that it heals fast and that he is all better soon.
Just breaks my heart, especially because we waited so long. His little ouch when you picked him up and then him telling us he was alright. Kids are resilant, he'll be okay. Yeah, it does seems he gets more of his fair share.
Meg, I'm not sure if they will do anything but the sling, When branson broke his they just told us to keep it wrapped up and let it heal on it's own. With Gage being older though i'm not sure...
Meg we have to go to an orthopedic sergeon tomarrow to see if we will get surgery or not. But pretty much a sling is all they do!
