Every year on the Saturday before Christmas we go down to see Darin's older brother in American Fork (i think that's were he lives) Brian got sick with spinal meningitis as a baby and he now functions at around a one year old level. We love Brian so much and always feel blessed for the time that we get to spend with him. Usually the kids get a bit scared of him, but they did so good this year!!! I was so proud of them!
We always take him out to lunch with the whole big group!

Darin and MyKelle!
Gage!!
Then we go back and open up his presents! He loves paper, so we make sure we always wrap everything he gets! His toys are usually very simple as well. Anything shiny, plays music, or something he can throw is always a huge hit!!! The kids were so excited to see him open his gifts! They even handed him his gifts! (last time we went they cried and wouldn't go anywhere near him)Brian with the the grandkids. He was a good sport to pose for a picture! Not something that happens very often!
We had a great time with Brian this year! I can't wait till we can go down and see him again.

Me with Darin!!!
MyKelle had a good time with Brian. She would follow him all over the room trying to give him tissue paper or balls.
This is Darin with his brothers!
