Happy Halloween!

This year for Halloween we started out in the afternoon by going trick or treating at Jo-Jo's house! My mom had cambree for a few hours so we stayed for a bit. MyKelle just loves her baby cousins, and loved holding cambree for as long as cambree would let her.

After Kelli came and picked up cambree we headed to go see papa. The kids just love him and couldn't wait to show off their costumes. Papa really loves to see the kids, and I love to see him watch my kids with a big smile on his face!

After we left papa we went to go get Darin so we could all go trick or treating around the neighborhood. It started raining right after we finished dinner, and it didn't look like it was going to stop anytime soon. So we decided to take an umbrella (Thanks mom) and go out before it got too bad. The kids had fun running in the rain to go trick or treating. Our neighbors felt bad for them, so they got hand fulls of candy at each house that we went to, which was good because we didn't last long!!! After we went to about 6 houses on our block the kids were done!! (Wahoooo!) So we headed back home drenching wet. Below is the after picture.

You can't really tell but they are soaking wet!!! We went right inside and jumped in a nice hot bath, got in our pj's and watched a movie for the rest of the night! It was a fun night, but I did feel bad, because right when we got out of the bath the rain stopped and we got hit hard with trick or treaters the rest of the night! The kids wanted to go back out, but they were clean and I was not about to put them back in those soaking wet costumes.

We still had fun, but now we have a fun memory we are not soon to forget.
