Bear Lake 2008

Every year we try to go to Bear Lake with my whole extended family. This year was a little different. I guess we ended up going in shifts and didn't end up making it there all together. I went up with my mom (on crutches), Kelli, my kids, and my dad came up for one day. We ended up having a great girls getaway! Thanks mom for a great time!
One of my best friends growing up lives up at Bear Lake now. Her name is Laurie (Oborn) Bingham. I haven't seen Laurie in a very long time!!! It was so much fun to spend a few hours with her and catch up!
At the pool gage's favorite thing was to jump off the side of the pool into someone's arms! We all had to take turns catching him, because that was all he wanted to do! When you tried to do anything else with him he would just scream!
Kelli was a great Aunt and caught him most of the time, but even the cripple (jo jo) caught him a few times!
The kids loved the beach!
But not the taste :)
Gage loved to splash in the water!

Jo Jo even made her way down to the beach, on crutches and all! What a good sport!

The second day we were there we noticed some people next to us that were trying to catch a bird! This was like the 3rd or 4th attempt to catch a bird. They would dig a great big whole in the dirt and cover someone in dirt, put crackers on his chest, and wait! I swear one guy waited for like 10 min or longer! How they were breathing is still a mystery to me. It was great entertainment for me though!
