We were planning on going camping this weekend, so this morning we started out gathering some stuff to go on our fun trip. Well before i know it, Darin has had a seizure which means he is down for the day. So I stop packing and put everything away knowing that we weren't going to make it up camping today, but i was still hoping that maybe we could go tomorrow, so I wasn't too upset about this. Well tonight as I was changing MyKelle into her pj's for bed, I noticed a bunch of "zit-like" red and white bumps all over her stomach, back and sides. So at 9:00 at night I take both of my kids to the doctors. And yep MyKelle has CHICKEN POX!! She did get the chicken pox vaccine, so luckily this is just a mild case but it still means a few weeks locked inside of my house with a child that has the chicken pox and we for sure are not making it up to the property to go camping. Gage doesn't have it yet, but we will see what happens! So if you have seen MyKelle the last few days and haven't had the chicken pox yet (like her father) you might want watch for the signs of chicken pox!

Oh Katie! I'm sorry! I hope that the Chicken Pox clear up soon! Has Gage had he vaccine? I sure hope Addi doesn't get them!! We last saw you on Saturday, right?? Oh-Well!
Anni got the pox after the shot but she was hardly afflicted. At least now you know she won't loose the immunity from the shot and get the pox when she is 40 and get them in her lungs so she ends up in the ICU on a ventilator.
I was just able to have a mumps vaccine as I am no longer immune. Hoodathunk? I guess my excuse for all the chins is down the toilet. I was sure it was mumps!

yes gage has been vaccinated! And i hope that addison doesn't get them either! Good thing your still nursing so she has you antibodies in her system! If she does get them i'm very sorry! I will watch her for you!
That sucks! how is she doing? Do I need to come save her? I have had the chicken pox so I'm good! I got them from Amamnda when we were at Gammy's! I had to stay home from school in the 4th grade and to make thing worse I had to miss pajama day. I think I made Adam take a picture of my class in there pajama's because I have a picture of them in their pj's with out me there!
Wow, Kelli, I have no memory of that at all. I saw MyKelle today and it's a very light case. She doesn't even act sick at all. except she was running away from her chicken pox and yelling shoo at them. Cute funny kid.
Mom, It's okay that you don't have a memory of that. These days we are lucky if you remember that you talked to us the day before
We missed you last night at my mom's. I sure hope that noone else breaks out. Tell Mykelle Hi from all of us!! Jenna really missed seeing her last night.
