So this 4th of July was eventful for our family! We started off having a lot of fun! We went to the centerville parade with my family. The kids had so much fun chasing all the candy that was being thrown. We then had a nice bbq with my dad's family afterwards.
Well later that night we thought it would be fun to light fireworks for the kids to see. So we let them play with the pops and they were having lots of fun, so we pulled out the sparklers!!!! (Bad idea) Gage was not satisfied with just looking at the pretty sparklers, he decided that it was a better idea to touch them! Well he was faster than mom, and grabbed the end of the sparkler and got burned!! Now this is not the first time that I have been the witness to one of my kids burning themselves. (Mykelle burned her arm with my flat iron when she was 1 years old also!!!) So i grabbed gage and stuck his arm in the water bucket that we had ready for the fireworks. He was a tough boy though and only cried for a few minutes!! I was freaking out way longer!!

Gage loves to pull the bandaids off of his arm. So in the attempt to keep some neosprorin on his arm we wrap it in an ace bandage. But you can see that he is still a happy boy!!

look at how cute Gage is! And I don't believe that he only cried for a few minutes. Jeremy says Gage is the man. I'm glad you guys had a good 4th.
I'm sorry to hear about the burn! Sparklers are scary and burn so hot! I'm glad he's okay!
