This weekend we traveled up to Darin's families property. They have land up above Evenston, by Mirror Lake. It is so pretty! We had a ton of fun! We went up Thursday, and the rest of Darin's family came up friday. We had so much fun on thursday by ourselves.
We hiked down to the stream and sat by it and threw all sorts of stuff into the stream. It entertained us for at least an hour. We then headed back up to camp (Which i don't have pictures of, sorry!) And roasted hotdogs and smores! Yummm! We did find out that our kids don't like smores, so me and darin ate them all! I swear i gained like 10 pounds, but boy was it worth it!
On Friday and Saturday we went fishing! We bought Mykelle her very own Princess fishing pole last year, but MyKelle never really caught on until this year! It was so cute to see her dad teach her how to fish! She was so excited when she finally got it down! We just couldn't stand anywhere near her unless you wanted a hook in the leg. (yes darin put a real hook on her line! Crazy people!)

She really wanted to catch a fish really bad. So when grandpa Williams caught a fish, he let MyKelle reel it in and yes we took full credit for MyKelle catching her very first fish!
This is MyKelle's "Second" fist that she caught, (this time darin caught the fish and let her reel it in, and again she took full credit for the fish catching!)All of the cousins that were up there were having great success when it came to catching fish! They ended up keeping like 7 fish the first day and 7 fish the secound day to eat with dinner. GROSS! They tried to get me to eat the fish. Ha Ha good luck! But that will never happen!
After fishing we went back to the property and rode on Megan and Brandon's 4-wheelers! MyKelle loved the ride she had with Jenna and Aunt Becky. Even though I heard that she almost feel off a few times.
Gage loved just sitting on the 4-wheeler. This is the happiest that he got while camping! He didn't get his naps and was not happy at all!!!

This is my little family Saturday afternoon at Mirror Lake! We were so dirty! But we had a great time and can't wait to go back!!

dpWhat a fun trip! It looks beautiful there. I'm with you on the fish thing, yuck! Looks like you had a good time. Next time take Gage out on the 4 wheelers to fall asleep, that's what we do with our kids, works every time :)
