Yesterday was my Grandpa Gines' birthday! So tonight the whole family-cousins and everything-went to the Golden Corral! The Golden Corral is my grandpa's favorite place to go! We go there every year on his birthday and on their anniversay (which was last month). The food there isn't the best, but it's always fun to hang out the Gines' relatives!
Grandpa always gives a little speach that no one ever listens to. Tonight he told some story about a guy who had a birthday and no one told him happy birthday until he got to work. It went on for a long time and i did end up tuning him out, but it did end up with the dude getting a pair of shoes. 
After dinner we all went to adams' house because some of us needed haircuts (both of my children were included-thanks jess)
Adam and i thought that it would be funner to play guitar hero! Boy did he kick me butt! Good thing i didn't play against jessica! She beats Adam! I had a lot of fun tonight! Thanks to everyone for making it a blast!

I haven't seen your grandparents forever! I remember going to their house after the Centerville 4th of July Parade.
So, I am actually leaving Tues. afternoon now, but I'll be back Wed. night. What time do you guys think you'll be up. Hopefully I'll be able to see you. And, I don't work at Quick N' Tasty anymore:)
Sorry I opted out of the Golden Corral fun..not really, I hate that place! I'm glad that you had a fun time despite the crappy food and crazy grandpa story!
Katie, enjoy the crazy grandpa stories as they will end and you will feel sad. I heard the same war stories from Hugh for years. I sure wish I'd written some stuff down because I can't remember the facts and my granny has a different version. I am so sorry about Golden Corral. I hope you used antibacterial handwash after each trip through the germ infested food lines.
I also want to tell you how great I think you are to come to all the family things! You are a champ and I wish I had your cheerful disposition! You go girl!
I had so much fun this night! I love going to eat their I thought it was really yummy. And seeing all of our Gines cousins is a plus! I'm so excited for Bear lake this week I can hardly stand it! I also, have a grandpa Gines blog coming.
