So first of all I hope that no one in my family minds me posting this, especially since they haven't seen these pictures yet! I'm sorry if you do!
As part of my mom's and dad's christmas present we paid for a big family photo session! We thought that it would be so cute to have some pictures of us in the snow! So on January 3rd we all met at Layton Park to get our pictures taken! Boy was it cold!!!!!
As you can see we tried to bundle the kids up until it was time to take pictures! But they weren't very happy! Actually everyone did really well except for Gage! I think that he just doesn't like his pictures taken. It seems like everytime we go to take pictures he likes to cry a whole lot!!
We decided to try to take a grandkid picture right after the big group picture, hoping that the kids would behave! Well they (and by they i mean gage) wouldn't stop crying, so travis decided to go get a swan (which were wondering all over the place) and chase it over to the kids to get there attention. This was there reaction to the shock of a swan running toward them! But hey Gage isn't crying!
Then we tried to do a grandkid and grandparents picture, but again Gage wouldn't stop crying!
Then, I'm not sure why, but I decided to do a family picture and guess what, Gage wouldn't stop crying! So then we decided to get inside, and we went back to Krystal's house and took pictures there!
This went much better! Gage actually stopped crying and we got some pretty cute pictures!
Here is a grandkid picture! Gage isn't crying, not smiling, but not crying!
So I decided to try my family pictures again! This time it worked much better!
Then we had to do an "original Gines' famliy" picture!
Then a sibling picture!(By the way everyone else in my family got there individual family pictures taken, but I will leave that up to them to blog! They are really cute and I don't want to spoil any more pictures!)
Overall I think the photo shoot turned out pretty good! (After we went indoors!) Thanks to everyone for suffering in the cold snow!

maybe Gage won't stopy crying because he has pink gloves.
They look so good! It was worth the FREEZING weather! We picked the coldest day of the year so far! :P I can't wait to see the rest of them! Thanks for organizing everything! You're the best!
Aren't we so cute! They turned out great, but boy was it cold and I don't blame Gage one bit for crying.
Hsving pictures in the cold is tough, been there done that a couple of times. But Hey, your pictures seemed to have turned out really good considering the kids crying an all. Your kids always look cute no matter what. I like the red and black too by the way.
