Happy Birthday Poppy!

Today my dad turns 54 years old! I'm so proud of my daddy, and always have been! I couldn't ask for a better dad! My dad sets an example for me and darin as parents that we strive to live each and everyday!

*He is kind and loving to everyone! Did you know that he does "meals on wheels"? He takes time out of his day every week and takes food to people who can't leave their houses!

*My dad is very patient! In all my time growing up, my dad hardly raised his voice! When he did get mad though, you knew you were in big trouble!!!

*He always finds humor in hard times! He always laughs! I remember growing up when we would go on vacations in the motor home, we would always break down,(and I mean ALWAYS)!!! He would always stay calm, make sure we were safe, and then laugh! He would have us all laughing by the time the motor home was fixed. And boy do we have great stories to tell now!

*My dad will also do anything for his kids and grandkids! All I have to do is call my dad and tell him that something in my house doesn't work anymore, and before I know it, he is at my house trying to fix it! And Mykelle has this guy wrapped around her finger! Me and Darin always joke that if we want something all we have to do is have MyKelle tell poppy that she wants it, and it's ours!! For example, MyKelle really wanted a big car that she could get into and drive-you know what I mean? They are like $200 at toys r us. Well I told MyKelle that she needed to tell poppy, so she did. Well for Christmas my mom and dad bought one for all the grandkids that, of course, stays at their house!
