The not so happy birthday!

Gage turned 2 on thursday this week! He usually is such a happy boy, but on thursday he was not one bit happy! It all started with telling him he was a birthday boy and trying to sing him happy birthday! Only to be told, "NO (elbow)" and a slap to the face. Then I tried to get him to open up presents, another big mistake! He wouldn't do this either! He would cry and tell me NO, and then mykelle would try to start opening his presents and she would get yelled at. Finally after all of his presents were open, he decided he would be happy and play with his toys! His favorite was the fireman dressup we got him.

Then we thought it would be fun to take him to Chuck e cheese's for lunch, since they had such a fun time for MyKelle's birthday! Well this didn't got much better!

All he would eat was half a breadstick!

MyKelle still enjoyed her pizza!

He would get on rides and like it for about 10 seconds and then cry to get off. We did find one thing that he liked! Air hockey!!! They played air hockey for about half an hour! Gage actually scored on MyKelle quite a few times! MyKelle did end up winning though! I never thought that either of them would be able to play! And they loved it!

Gage thought it was easier to go on the side of the table!

After lunch we went back home for a great big nap! Then later jo-jo came over to give him more presents! Gage was still not too into opening presents. But once the presents were open he was all over playing with the toys that he got!

The next day, Friday, we went to the doctor for his two year checkup. Gage is doing much better than I thought! He weighs 25 pounds which puts him in the 20 % for his weight!!! When we went at his 18 months appointment he was below 5%! So I'm way excited! His length is also in the 20%!! Our doctor is worried about Gage's allerigic reactions that he has had in the past, so we do have to go see an allergist! He also got two shots while we were there. One of them was the flu shot. So today Gage has been throwing up and has a bad case of the "runs"! I hope this passes soon!
