Every year on the 4th of July we go to the Centerville parade early in the morning! My Grandma Gines lives on the parade route and she always blocks off her sidewalk so that all her kids and grandkids can come enjoy the parade.

I was very proud of the hairstyle that i did on MyKelle so I took lots of pictures!
Gage loved the fire trucks, but hated the loud noise!
After Gage found comfort in my dad's lap he was able to wave to the fire trucks that passed by.
At the Centerville parade they throw candy, so we came prepared with a cute bag that kids shared.
It's getting full! By the end of the parade they had filled the bag to the very top!
MyKelle loves to watch the band. We have our local high school marching band that comes around our neighborhood to practice for parades, and the kids love running outside to watch the band as it passes our house. So the band in the parade is way cool for them.
They also loved the horses!
We all chased after candy as it was thrown in the street!
Even Addison ran in the street a few times to grab some candy!

He got brave and could run in the street all by himself. So much for trying to teach them to not play in the street!!

Natalie found some stickers and placed them on Kelli in just the right place!
After the parade we always hang out at grandma's house for a luncheon to celebrate her birthday that falls on the 4th of July! Travis found one of Grandma's bikes and took the kids for a ride on it!

Honestly, didn't you run in the street to get candy more than the kids. I loved it when one of the entries had to wait for you to get out of the way before the parade could continue. I know, you were just helping the kiddos. Fun parade. Fun day.
I LOVE A PARADE!! You know who else did?--Grandpa Edman. We used to go to the holiday parades in SLC with him. Thanks for taking me down memory lane with this post.
