Our Family Vacation to Oregon - Day Two

Today we woke up and left our hotel at about 8:30 a.m. to make our way to Portland, Oregon. On our way to Portland we stopped at Multnomah falls and the fish ladders and fish hatchery.

This is inside the visitors center. We found a whistle that my sister and I used to pull on when we were kids, and thought that my kids needed to do the same. They were so funny when the whistle blew. They thought they had done something wrong and were going to get in trouble.

This is in the basement of the visitors center. We could look in the windows and watch the fish swim up the ladders. It was really cool. There were so many big fish! I bet Darin wished that he brought his fishing pole!

After the fish ladders, we headed to the fish hatchery. Here we got to see some more big fish!

This is Kelli teaching my kids how to feed the fish! There were so many fish. The kids loved it!

After the fish hatchery we headed up to multnomah falls.

This is actually taken at a waterfall below multnomah falls, but I don't remember the name.

After the Falls we continued to Portland. We arrived at our hotel, another marriot, around 6:00 p.m. went and grabbed pizza and went to bed!
