Our Family Vacation to Oregon - Day Nine

Today we started the day out by going to Devil's Churn. I love Devil's Churn. It has always been one of my favorite places in Oregon. My Dad hates this place. It always makes him really nervous. I never really understood why until I had my own kids on the rocks and walking around them. I must admit I got very nervous that my kids would slip and fall to their death, but they didn't!!

You get to walk on these lava rocks so that you can go hear the waves as they crash in a cave that is below you. It is really cool!! But you could easily slip on these rocks. So scary as a parent!!!

Then you can go watch the waves crash against the rocks at a different angle. This is always a fun place to try to get pictures. This is the first year that someone didn't get soaked in those waves. (Well the first year while I have been with them)

Darin tried to find tide pools for the kids.

After Devils Churn we went to go ride the sand rails. Since MyKelle and Gage aren't old enough to ride the Sand rails Adam and Jessica volunteered to, once again, watch my kids!! Thanks Adam and Jessica!!!! You guys are the best!!

Adam and Jessica took the kids Miniature Golfing while we went on the sand rails. That was the first time that they had been miniature golfing and they loved it!!! Gage keeps asking Darin when he can go golfing again!!! They felt so cool hanging out with their aunt and uncle!

This is our car with everyone in it, except the driver. Front seat: Kelli. Middle seat: Dad, me, and Darin. Back seat: Mom, and Jeremy.

Our driver was so crazy! He really gave us a great ride. He kept saying that his goal was to make us THINK that we were going to flip the car. He succeeded his goal many times!!!

After the Sand Dunes we went to go get some lunch at Moe's!! Anyone that knows me knows that Moe's is not my favorite place, but oh well!! And for any of you wondering, I didn't even eat chili!!!!! I chose a hamburger!! (If you don't know the joke, come ask me- long story)

Gage gave Adam the camera and said, "picture, please!!" so I just had to post the picture that Adam took.

Then we headed to Neptune Beach. This is another one of my favorite places in Oregon. When you hit this beach during low tide you get to see tons of sea life in the tide pools. Unfortunately our low tide was a + 4 (which is not good) so we didn't see anything!!!

After we left Neptune beach disappointed, we drove up Cape Perpetua.

After this we went shopping again at Depoe Bay and then went back to the hotel.
